What to expect during the Pamukkale Paragliding flight?
Pamukkale Paragliding Tour starts by the time you leave your hotel. We will pick you up from your hotel, at a scheduled time. The car will drive you towards the point where your flight starts. Your experience starts from Dynamite Hill which is also known as We will drive direction Dynamite hill which is situated 350 meters above the ground level of Pamukkale.
The pilots will prepare you and you will get a detailed introduction regarding the flight they will explain everything you need to know about the flight and what you are and are not allowed to do during the flight.
Ready for your flight, the experience starts! The pilot and you will start running for a few steps and at a point, you will find yourself up in the air gliding. The flight has an approximate duration of 15 to 20 minutes. Keep in mind that the flight time is variable due to the weather conditions and the wind intensity.
During your flight, you will be able to enjoy the White Travertines of Pamukkale, and in addition, you will spot the olive trees and cotton fields spread in the area. During your flight, you can also observe the ancient Roman theatre, the ancient city of Hierapolis, the Necropolis and, you will be flying over the Cleopatra Pool.
Slowly you will start descending and the landing will take place in the special landing area close to the village of Pamukkale. By the landing, the pilot will give you again the short instructions to make a safe and good landing.
Can we take pictures during the Pamukkale Paragliding?
As the pilots did mention at the beginning of the flight, no cameras and go-pros aren’t allowed to take with you during the flight due the safety reasons. The pilots will take some during your flight photos and videos and after you will have the chance to preview these photos and videos. If you wish you can purchase them at an extra cost in order to remember this experience. The prices are negotiable and the number of pictures and videos you wish.
After your flight, we will transfer you back, from the same place where we did pick you up.
Is the Pamukkale Paragliding safe?
A safe paragliding tandem flight requires some organization and preparation. The weather must be good, the equipment must be prepared and maintained, and the clothing and other equipment must be adapted to the conditions. Is there a minimum age and maximum weight for Pamukkale Paragliding?
Paragliding Pamukkale is the perfect attraction for all ages from 6 – 99 years old. If you’re a passenger, the tandem paragliding weight limit usually ranges between 110 -120 kg or 242-264 pounds. This allows for a maximum limit of 220-240 kilograms or 485 – 529 pounds for the pilot, passenger, and any equipment being carried.
